Save African Child Buikwe (U) and the NGO components of SACU have four directors on their Executive Board. These dedicated members work closely with their mission aligned stakeholders in North America in order to support the growth of their organizations.

Ivan Nsera ⋅

 “GIVE ME A CHANCE!”

Founder & Director of SACU (Uganda). He lost both of his parents at a tender age, resulting in many difficult and challenging years during his childhood. His education was sponsored by an organization known as Uganda-Czech Development Trust (UCDT) throughout his university schooling. Once completing his education he returned to his community of Buwundo to give back by helping orphans, needy and vulnerable children acquire a solid education at no cost to the family . Ivan’s dream of helping the children achieve a bright future has become a reality.  With his education & skills as a computer scientist, he has created a strong business base for the successful operations of SACU. He produces professional reports for those who support the school, inquiries to the secondary & trade schools for our students and to the community which supports the medical needs & health education to SACU. 

Ann Isubah ⋅

 “I LOVE MY WORK.”

Head Teacher & SACU Committee Treasurer (Uganda). Ann Isubah started working with SACU in September 2010 as a teacher and now has the title of Head of the staff at SACU Nursery & Primary School. She is also the treasurer of SACU board committee in Uganda. Ann is a teacher by professional who is ready to provide service for all pupils regardless of sex, colour, tribe or family background.

Bukenya William ⋅

 “TRANSPARENCY IS THE BEST WEAPON IN FINANCE.”

Financial Advisor (Uganda). Bukenya is a program manager with “Raising Up Hope for Uganda,” an 10 year old organization set on empowering underprivileged children to become future leaders of their communities. After working with Ivan at Raising Up Hope, Ivan invited him to work with SACU, and was very grateful to accept the invitation. He feels inspired and touched by the work SACU has accomplished. His heart is called to work with poor & vulnerable children and needy communities. He has a BS in Accounting and Finance from Makerere University and graduated the Project Planning and Management program at the Uganda Management Institute.

Namiro Hasifah ⋅

 “I HAVE TO FOLLOW MY HEART.”

Committee Member, Secretary (Uganda). Namiro is a Head Teacher in a infant school located in Kampala, a new career of two years. She decided to give back to SACU by volunteering as a  board member on the new SACU committee. She is dedicated to being a good secretary with Ivan’s guidance. Namiro was the first SACU student to graduate and further her education by majoring in Early Childhood Development Education and is now a qualified teacher.
