Ten new children, ages half 3 to 5 yrs, have been chosen due to their vulnerable life situation to join the SACU family. Their stories will be shared shortly. We are so excited to have each of them sponsored by a family, group or person who is looking forward to sharing in the incredible life journey of these little ones.

Some of this years Baby Class were found to be malnourished and their growth is slow, their abilities are unknown. The newest vulnerable children, as you can see by their faces, are apprehensive and unsure in this new environment called school. Their stories tell of abandonment, abuse, being forced to work & live with the animals, left alone in mud huts and most go to bed hungry. They are left in the care of their aging grandparents as AIDS has taken their parents. Their chances of learning something as simple as reading & writing was unthinkable if not for Ivan searching in the villages for young children who he then would offer a place in our Primary School, giving them a chance at a future. It will take some of them months before they can socialize, gain strength and nourishment so that they will soon be ready to learn.

These children are the lucky few who will have the opportunity to be a vital part of society and earn a living, because someone cared about them. Our hope is that they will help raise up the villages and thus bring other children & families out of the heartbreaking poverty of Uganda.

The new students will now a chance to shine within the walls of our loving teachers. In 6 months their demeanor will be changed and they will be happy, healthy and learning so much just like our older children. Their stories are here with the hopes that someone will open their hearts and have the desire to help as together we can

CHANGE A STORY, CHANGE A LIFE!
